{Kansas : 2014} "We need to get there early because there are going to be a lot of people photographing it" ---Said I a couple hours before we pulled up on the completely deserted location. Monument Rock was one of our stops on a breezy -10 degree day at sunrise. The wind was at about 15 knots and in between warming our fingers and camera in the car we had a front row show to this beautiful morning on our Nations First Natural Landmark. If the seclusion and nature didn't spark your fancy, imagine standing next to something that has 80 million years of history on you. Imagine the people and things these structures have seen. Humbling to say the lease.
